The main characters in this novel are jack, piggy, and Ralph. These characters show us different images about humanity. Ralph is smart and always thinks before he acts. He has a calm attitude, and always has a plan for the group of kids. However, Jack is wild, short thinker, and doesn’t really care about the situation which they are in. Piggy is a good friend of Ralph, but is a coward. I like Ralph because he is always thinking for the group, and has plans so that the group will be in good shape. On the other hand I don’t really like jack. He is an egoist and wants the authority (power) to rule the kids.
