Ares
This God is a War God; he loved wars and bloodshed for its own sake.
Ares was the son of Zeus and Hera, so Ares did not do anything to become a god. The King and Queen of the Olympic Gods weren't too strict on their son. Ares was accompanied into battle by his Uncle Hades (the Lord of the Underworld).
The similarities between Hercules and Ares are that both of them are good at fighting, Hercules fought the monsters and Ares fought in the wars. Another thing is that Hercules and Ares had someone they loved, Hercules loved Meg and Ares loved Aphrodite, But Aphrodite was already married to another god. Ares stole her.
The differences are, Hercules didn’t like violence, and used violence when he had no choice, so I would say Hercules is very peaceful and merciful, but on the other hand Ares loved to fight, if there was a war going on he would get his weapons and kill everybody. Hercules was popular, but Ares was unpopular among Gods and people because of his violence.
